Olive Cooke, a Byron Bay-based creative, has built an international reputation as a tastemaker, driven by her deep appreciation for craftsmanship and design in every aspect of her life. Her work is profoundly influenced by her surroundings and personal experiences, with her distinctive eye and passion for beauty forming the foundation of her diverse career. Olive has seamlessly navigated roles as a fashion designer, entrepreneur, creative director, and, more recently, interior and furniture designer.

With an impressive portfolio, Olive has collaborated with renowned local and global brands such as Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Giorgio Armani, Bvlgari, Veuve Clicquot, Net-A-Porter, LG, Mecca, and Guerlain. Her work has been featured in top publications including Vogue Australia, Vogue Brides, The Local Project, and RUSSH. A lover of meaningful collaborations, Olive thrives in working alongside like-minded brands to create authentic, impactful content and stories.

Olive's commitment to sustainable fashion design led her to launch her own premium swimwear label, Cooke Swim, in 2019. The brand embodies her vision to celebrate all women, while reflecting her passion for travel and resort-chic aesthetics. Olive’s creative reach extends beyond fashion, having co-designed two jewellery collections with artisan brand Kirstin Ash, with her love for nature and the ocean being at the forefront of the design process.

Perhaps Olive’s greatest passion lies in interior design and architecture, an area where she and her husband, Henry, share a deep creative connection. Through their visual diary, Files from 45, the couple take followers on a journey through their design process - offering insights into the inspirations, builds, landscaping, and interiors that reflect their global experiences. Together, they create spaces that resonate with beauty, craftsmanship, and a sense of personal narrative. This passion for home has encouraged Olive to extend her love of design into her newly launched business Open Plan Studio - a collection of home pieces that celebrate the beauty in everyday moments. Olive has a love of searching for, curating and creating pieces that make her house a place where friends and family feel at home - this is at the core of Open Plan Studio - the desire to make the home an inviting space for everyone.

2025 is set to be Olive’s most memorable year yet as she prepares to welcome her first child.
